Glade Spring Crossing Subdivision

Eden & Associates performed conceptual design for a planned residential subdivision in Blacksburg, VA in preparation for a rezoning process. The concept plan proposes approximately 176 market-rate, mixed-income/workforce, and affordable housing units. E&A collaborated with Town of Blacksburg stakeholders to develop a project that serves Town needs by providing housing in specific Area Median Income (AMI) bands and regional stormwater management facilities. The regional facilities benefit the project by providing centralized, cost-effective solutions to meeting the water quantity and quality regulations and the Town by reducing existing downstream flooding caused by upstream urban areas. The project includes the design of a turnlane, public roads, multi-use trails, public water, public sewer, and stormwater management facilities (wet and dry ponds). E&A is continuing to prepare rezoning documents through the end of 2022. Additional information will be available here as the project continues through the rezoning process.
