Jamie Peck, P.E.



Jamie has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and has achieved her Professional Engineering License in Virginia and North Carolina. Prior to joining Eden & Associates, she worked as a project engineer on aviation design projects as well as gaining structural analysis experience at a nuclear power plant in Virginia. Jamie now focuses her expertise on site design, grading design, erosion & sediment control, storm water management, and water quality, while coordinating local, state, and federal permitting efforts for our projects.

Meredith Jones, P.E.

Vice President


Meredith is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering. Her experience in both the public and private sectors is vital within her project management role. She has worked on development projects throughout the Commonwealth with a focus on ensuring compliance with federal and state environmental requirements, primarily with storm water and permitting efforts. She routinely participates in meetings and discussions with various agencies and helps develop guidance documents and program implementation. She previously served as Chief Engineer for the Town of Blacksburg and is currently an adjunct professor at Virginia Tech as part of their LDDI Program.

Mark D. McGuire, P.E.

Vice President


Mark is a 1994 graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He began his career working on CERCLA and RCRA sites performing environmental studies and remedition efforts. He's spent the the majority of his career designing transportation projects with a focus on airfield development. He's been the engineer of record on multi-million dollar heavy civil engineering projects since 2001.

He was National Director of the American Council of Enginering Companies (ACEC) of Virginia in 2014 and serves on the Engineering Committee for the Airports Consultant Council (ACC).

Dan McKinney, A.I.C.P., C.M.

Vice President Planning


Dan has over sixteen years professional experience with expertise ranging from the creation of comprehensive and master plans to ensuring that clients successfully meet NEPA (National Environmental Protection Act) requirements. In addition, Dan has successfully worked with clients to acquire new property in fee and easement and meeting federal requirements involved for the acquisition of property that utilizes federal dollars. Dan's career began with local government and specifically working with local zoning, plan review, meeting facilitation, transportation planning, comprehensive planning, and the master planning of public facilities. Dan provides a strong background in coordination between local and state government as well as zoning administration, comprehensive master planning services, site plan development and review, and neighborhood / public relations. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning with a Double Major in Geography, 1997 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Jana Jennings

Chief Financial Officer


Jana has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech. She is Chief Financial Officer and handles marketing efforts for Eden & Associates. Before joining Eden & Associates, she worked for ITT Night Vision in their Marketing Department. Jana is involved in commercial property management and leasing with ACE Commercial Properties.

Richard Caldwell

Senior Designer


Richard is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Building Construction. Prior to joining Eden & Associates, he spent 29 years as Vice President with Frith Construction Company in Martinsville, VA. At Eden & Associates Richard is a Senior Designer and is responsible for much of the building, structural, and mechanical system designs.

Andrew Kratzer, P.E.

Senior Engineer


Andrew is a 1999 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a professional engineer with 17 years of civil design and construction management experience focused on aviation development projects. He’s currently the engineer of record for the multi-million dollar airfield expansion project at Virginia Tech Montgomery Executive Airport. The project design includes extensive utility relocation and coordination efforts as well as compliance with the current stormwater management regulations. Andrew has been a main point of contact with the ongoing VDOT South Gate Interchange design project directly adjacent to the runway extension. As part of a coordinated effort between the two projects, FAA grant funding money is being used to fund a portion of the road relocation and Huckleberry Trail relocation associated with the new interchange. In addition to his design experience, Andrew has been the on-site resident engineer for many of the same projects. As resident engineer he was responsible for construction management and inspection of the projects. He coordinated construction activities with the owner and contractor, performed daily on-site inspection services as the owner’s representative, tracked construction quantities, and prepared state and federal reports and grant reimbursement requests.

Danielle B. Bishop, P.E.

Senior Engineer


Danielle has been working as a civil engineer with a concentration in stormwater for almost 20 years. She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1998 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. In 2005 she obtained her professional engineering license and later obtained certification as a DEQ Dual Combined Administrator. Mostly recently, in 2016, Danielle obtained her certification as an Envision Sustainability Professional from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. Danielle initially started her career working in the private sector dealing with land development. However, later she transitioned over to the public sector working for local governments. After 15 years of working with the government she gained a vast knowledge regarding the development of land and specifically stormwater management. Serving as a VSMP Administrator, she became well versed in state regulatory requirements, successfully working her way through two major re-writes of the stormwater regulations as well as serving a one of the members of the Virginia DEQ BMP Clearinghouse Committee. For the past two years, Danielle’s latest efforts have been focused on helping local governments incorporate sustainable concepts into their stormwater designs. Danielle will lead the Envision Sustainability efforts for E & A as well as provide stormwater management and quality design services.
